This is the heartwarming moment a driver saves a dog from being run over on a busy six-lane London road before reuniting it with its owner.
A man captured the occasion he spotted a dog that seemed to be lost on a road while he was driving and managed to retrieve it.
In the video posted on TikTok, the pooch can be seen running down a carriageway and the man behind the camera says, 'There's a dog, nah man has to save that'.
He opens the vehicle door and says, 'Come here, where you going?'.
Then the camera shows how the pet continues to sprint away from another motorist who seemed to have gotten out of their vehicle.

The dog was spotted running on a busy London carriageway by the man who then tried to retrieve it
Luckily, the man finds the dog after it ran down a residential street away from the motorway and was able to contact the owner
In the video posted on TikTok , the pooch can be seen running down a carriageway and other cars seem to stop

The camera pans to show how some traffic behind appears to have stopped and the small white pup can be seen running on a street at the side of the road while other drivers get out of their motors to look.

AdvertisementThe video switches to show a residential street and the man behind the camera says, 'Guys I've found it, I've found it, I've found it, oh my days...'.
Quickly pacing down the path, the dog then appears to run away from the man who can be heard saying, 'Oh my god look. Hello! Come here!'
After a chase, the pooch stops outside of the door of a house and the man manages to gently pet it and check the collar.
He says to the dog, '...We're going to take you home now!'
The camera then pans to show the man carrying the pooch and he reveals that he managed to contact the dog's owner.
He says, 'I just called her [the owner] and she was so happy, we're going to go to mamma now...'
The dog is shown sitting in his vehicle and the man then cheerfully sings along to music while holding the pet.
Later on in the video, he pulls over and the dog's owner approaches the car.
The man says, 'There she is, look mummy's come to save you, look mummy's there!'
The pooch quickly ran away from the man on the carriageway and headed towards a residential area
The owner was relieved to be reunited with her beloved pet called Marley and thanked the man for his efforts
He tells the owner, 'He was on the motorway...,' as she scoops up the beloved pet, called Marley, into her arms.
She thanks the man and he explains his efforts of trying to retrieve the dog.
The video attracted over 900,000 views and thousands of comments.
One user commented: 'Wildest car ride of his time.'
Another said: 'If ever my dog gets lost I want you to rescue him.'
