(ECNS) -- China Eastern Airlines' C919 passenger jetliner numbered B-919A returned to Shanghai after a 5-hour direct flight from Singapore on Monday, marking a successful overseas debut.
The much anticipated aircraft was praised for its large and comfortable cabin, environmentally friendly design and low-carbon emissions by visitors from across the world. Coaters and cleaning bags with C919 patterns became much favored souvenirs.
The C919 arrived in Singapore on Feb. 17 to attend the Singapore Airshow with four other homegrown aircrafts manufactured by Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC).
